A million words can be written about the folly of Trump’s Iran War. It’s appearing to be a huge strategic loss that points to 2 main concerns in my mind:
1 – Trump might be attempting to profit through crypto and the Iranians as secret business partners, while pretending we are hated enemies in a state of constant war. If they put a toll on every oil tanker passing the straits this is a dangerous precedent that goes against 90+ years of US Naval policy. Waterways are to be traversed freely without tolls. But if that toll goes partly to Trump, especially through crypto, he’s onboard. Israel could be paid off with this illegal cash flow but Trump would rather take it for himself and let the US taxpayers continue to co-fund Israel’s air force. Shipping insurance rates go sky-high, everything petroleum-based goes sky high, weapons and US oil stocks go sky high, and none of this hurts Trump or his family.
2 – By using crypto and Chinese currency to collect this toll, Trump will have undermined the US dollar, something he’s never been good at keeping anyway. Of course he’s also done his best to kill EV’s and alternative energy sources right when they are needed by the US working class. The overall US economy is headed for a major correction. He’s sold his country down the river and left us in a state of international piracy that the US armed forces will support, not oppose.
The worst part about it might be that the 80 year old Trump probably won’t be around to see what he did. His children will have billions in crypto backed by this new world order.
I’ve been on repeat since 2016…. those that observed and knew this man for decades before he became president coined the phrase “Everything Trump Touches Dies”. It’s why I don’t fuck with him, never have, never will. He’s clearly an antichrist like character, and I paid enough attention in religion class to know to avoid that devil.
I can avoid touching him easy enough. But I have always been worried about my country as a whole, if there ever was one, because he has his small predator hands all kinds of down our blouse and up our skirt. The republicans were the girl that wanted it…. ok thin ice on the rape correlation… but hopefully you get my point.
People wonder why the Dems can’t stop this madman? He still has republican support and they gerrymandered away what little middle ground there used to be. The supreme court bows to him, and he even takes legal losses as wins and doubles down on his dastardly deeds.
Can we survive Trump? Can we outlast his evil ride?
I don’t see a direct replacement. I believe (hope?) his power is his alone, it does not transfer to a son or protégée. The so-called ‘maga base’ is down to about 15% of american voters, if even. I think we have 1-2 more years of this guy and his pillaging of our treasury and sanity.
I’m a capricorn. We believe we can wait and win.
