2025 – Jimmy Kimmel gets taken off ABC’s air immediately under pressure from Trump’s FCC. For jokes about our criminal president. For jokes about how hate-monger Kirk was murdered by one of his own, or at least not a leftist as his followers want to believe.

Trump needs the narrative to be that a leftist killed Kirk, and now Kirk is the new martyr for the fake christian brigade. Of course it’s bullshit, but what isn’t bullshit with these people?

Right wing nuts are now running almost every important job in the federal government. The economy is shit. Our social programs are shit. Our foreign relations are shit. Women’s rights are under constant attack. Voting rights are under attack. Our research and academic world has been gutted. Travel & tourism are going to shit. There’s no immigrants to grow and pick our food. Anyone reporting this news is attacked and possibly shut down.

The enshitification of the USA by our very own Shitler. Pop quiz — When was the last time our capital was under attack? Who were the perpetrators?

Remember, Trump mercilously attacks anyone on his left, daily and viscously. We get blamed for everything under the sun. Usually whatever crime Trump Inc. is doing that day, we are beat up as part of that projection. No one can gaslight better than Trump. No one covers up with distractions and counter-suits better.

Stephen Colbert got discontinued on CBS’s air by applying pressure through a corporate buyout. For jokes about the buyout being a bribe. At least he’s on air a few more months as his contract elapses. Seems quaint compared to Kimmel.

PBS, the “Public” Broadcast System gets defunded by Trump’s government. The public is too woke to have their voices heard. Sesame Street is way too woke for these fraudsters. The freakin Bible is too woke for most of these faux populists. I know they don’t follow the teachings of Jesus Christ, I know that much.

The other major media platforms are shuddering in fear, believing the Trump sycophants are coming for them next. South Park might be the only sizable voice still publicly defying the strongman tactics coming from an American president.

Most of us chose to be quiet while Trump II ripped apart this country. We know that after the Supreme Court and the voters allowed Trump’s crimes of the first term to go unpunished that he would be unchecked in a 2nd term.

Now Trump has US soldiers patrolling the streets of our biggest “blue” cities. We know that all cities are blue but the ones in the blue states are symbolic, so he targets them. Soldiers in LA, DC, Memphis & Chicago soon. The darker the population of your city, the more Trump attacks his own citizenry. Poor soldiers. This is definitely not what they signed up for.

Any day he will launch his ‘president forever’ campaign because the only thing defying him now is time. Two more years and this old orange bag is gone and can’t be president ever again, unless he overthrows the constitution.

He’s been doing that for years, so it won’t be a shocker. Attacking it around the edges. Fighting every judgement. Losing 90% of all legal cases. The lower courts are doing their damndest to keep this singular criminal force in check. Trump loses a case to a federal judge weekly. Some weeks he loses 3 or 4 cases! But they are passing victories. There’s so much losing it’s barely news. Immediate appeal to the Supreme Court.

So it will ultimately come down to John Roberts, chief Justice of the Supreme Court, vs Don Trump, idiot King. Trump will probably try to use emergency powers like he did for tariffs and deportations. He will declare the entire nation in a state of emergency because of something nebulous like a ‘liberal agenda’.

Or he will make up a story about terrible outside forces coming to harm the U S of A and only he can stop it with his emergency mandate. Postpone the elections!

Does this cause civil war? Possibly. Depends on how the Supreme Court rules, and exactly how aggressively Trump goes after the left.

If Roberts backs Trump, American democracy is basically over and we are in a new fascist dictator era. Many on the left will keep their powder dry until it’s time for their strongman, since in many ways the two parties need and mimic each other to keep balance, and to keep that money flowing into their pockets.

If Roberts finally tries to stop Trump, we may have a scenario where Trump dismantles the Supreme Court. This, I think, could possibly spark something like a civil war, where several states revolt and break free from federal ranks. Trump’s 50% hold on right wingers fades with this move. Maybe a new constitutional convention springs up.

[I know ‘Red America’ only has a couple of international ports in their Gulf of America so The Republic of Gilead would struggle to defeat the east and west coasts of America in an actual civil war of Gilead vs. New-merica, or maybe 2MERICA?]

For 35 years we’ve been warned that Everything Trump Touches Dies. Today is just another day in that saga. America 2025 during Trump II is a chilling place. Let’s toast to the end of an era.
