Here’s an interesting article by the BBC getting into details behind Spotify’s music classification algorithms.

Lots of work to be done here, but sure enough, soon enough, the robots will be able to DJ properly too.

(Never better than a human, but who knows if future people will even notice.)

My favorite part of the article is how Lionel Richie & The Commodores seem to confuse the algorithm. Woo Lionel!
