Trump’s Criminal Enterprise
They are the swamp.
Paul Manafort profited millions from pro-Putin clients in the Ukraine, as the Ukraine was struggling with Russia influence. If that’s not dirty enough, he hid the money from the US government, both for tax purposes and to avoid State Department scrutiny – ie. why are you working for Putin?
Trump hired this guy anyway. Trump put his campaign in Manafort’s charge in the most critical moments – the convention and the strong-arming of delegates.
Remember, Trump hadn’t locked up the nomination when he hired Manafort. He needed a strongman to slap all the anti-Trump Republicans around, and who better than Putin’s political henchman?
Then there’s Michael Cohen… a lifelong limousine liberal (like Trump) who felt he was above the law. He was in on the scam. He used his mail order law degree to fix things for Trump.
Working a Don Juan fix was cleaning up his messes after attacking women, cheating on his 3rd wife, suing contractors, screwing shareholders, and backstabbing business partners.
So Cohen stayed busy for years. Cohen got rich and started buying NYC Taxi companies (coincidentally? a business traditionally run by Russians) right as Uber and Lyft were taking over.
Not smart, or just another cover-up?
Trump has so many front-companies and shady LLC’s who can keep up?
Prosecutors, that’s who.
Keep following the money, Mueller.
