Hidden Treasures – Mary’s Danish

Almost completely ignored 90’s band Mary’s Danish just grabs me every time I hear them. They had the hard to describe sound, unconventional lineup and the bad record deal to help determine their fate.

They disappeared without a trace beyond 3 CD’s in the budget bins, but youtube has helped us to re-discovery. Here’s their official video from their 3rd LP:

I can understand people shying away due to the unusual vocal harmonies but I like the uniqueness and boldness of two women singers. And the band smokes with that early 90’s rock-punk-funk mix that is still hot today.
