Welcome to the fourth iteration of WFNK.com! It all started in 1998 as a monthly music "webzine", self-published and full of original content covering the funky music world using volunteer journalists. By 2001 traffic was high and our Boombox message board was full of cool cats and great threads.

Around 2002 we switched to an early social networking style, but eventually myspace and it's clones sucked away most of our fun and traffic. We decided to sit out the last couple of web crazes and the site sat stagnant for a few years. Your boy Ezraz has been working on more music production than web production the last five years.

But oh yeah, WFNK.com will never die. We had to resurrect the place as a straight up blog so you can subscribe, comment, share, twitter away if you want. We ain't afraid, haha. Also, please open your ears to some crazy music put out under the name "2merica", with links to hear/watch/buy the stuff all over.

So this is our new WFNK.com, for a new decade. We have learned more steps than we have lost.
